Sushi Sapporo Westmead

Wanted to give a quick review of Sushi Sapporo Westmead, my local sushi place 🙂

While I love sushi, being a transplant patient means I am limited to the types of sushi I can have and stick to the cooked rolls/menu items over sashimi.

Good, however meats become slightly dry and tough/chewy.

Seaweed Salad 7/10

Good accompaniment to all the carbs, however it is a bit acidic.

I’ve only tried the chicken Katsu and this is really good.

Chicken schnitzel in a Japanese  style curry sauce. Seasoned with pickles and Japanese seasoning.

Served with miso soup.

Rice Bowls $14

They also have a few korean fusion items, one of these is bibimbap (beef rice bowl)

Made with grilled beef, salad and some glass noodles.

Extras

Potato spiral $5

Hotdog $5

The potato spiral or chip on a stick is amazing. 10/10 dusted with parmesan cheese, slightly pricey at $5 however definitely worth it.
