DIY Christmas Cards: Easy Steps to Craft Unique Holiday Greetings ☃️

Christmas is coming up and this year my mum ordered a pack of 15 watercolour Christmas cards.

I finished making them last night so here are the results.

Process

What I used

Watercolour paper
Metallic pens
Gel pens
Watercolour set

Markers
Card stock

Envelope
Glue
Printer + Scanner

Cartridge paper

Started off by sketching the images

Next I did the first layer, a light  wash.

Blocked in more colour with the second layer and then added white paint for the highlights.

Finished by using gel pens and metallic markers to outline and add detail.

Finally, dried images with a hairdryer.

Then scanned the images into the computer and edited them using Canva.

Printed images on cartridge paper.

Used a cutting board to cut image approx 2cm away from card stock. Pasted on using a glue stick.

The final result!

What do you guys think?

Love,

Luna x
